Sustainability
Ginger Autumn is actively trying to ensure that all our operations are as sustainable as possible. We appreciate this is a constant learning curve but we strive to be as sustainable as possible.
We are currently working on an exciting partnership to be able to offer a more sustainable approach to fashion.
Factory
We are proud to have found a factory in Portugal that shares very similar values we set-out on this journey with.
The factory works with the most efficient systems that focus on sustainability and energy efficiency.
Along with the above, the factory focuses on sustainable solutions, ethical consumerism and their environmental footprint.
The factory is also associated with the below accreditations;
- Global Organic Textile Standards (GOTS)
- Organic Content Standard (OCS)
- The Organic Content Standard (OCS)
- Global Recycled Standard (GRS)
The mill that produces our GOTs approved fabrics is based just a stones throw from our garment manufacturer which helps keep our carbon footprint to a minimum.
Packaging
After much thought we opted to use eco-friendly frosted-zip lock bags which are manufactured close to our fabric and rompers. These are made from recycled materials and are designed to be reused whilst delivering orders in pristine condition.
Materials
Ginger Autumn endeavours to use only the best materials in our products, currently we are using all organic, natural cotton in our over-sized rompers.
As we develop and launch new products we'll continually update you with the materials we are using.
Our accreditations
We are a member of UKFT.
Our manufacturer is GOTs accredited.
The mill that produces the fabric is GOTs accredited and produces our fabrics in accordance to this.
We are working to get our GOTs certification.
Our Artist
With Charlotte's creative vision on all of our pieces, we have truly been able to bring these to life through our artist, Livvi, an exceptional young artist we are very privileged to work with on all of our collections. @livvi_flanagan_art
Charity
Ginger Autumn has a vision to provide clothes for those less fortunate. We are currently busy developing a charitable scheme.
